Upgrade to JOGL2.0 build #661

Saying “it has been a while” since my last upgrade of JOGL2 would be putting it mildy .. anyway I finally won the struggle with procrastination and downed a new version today: Build #661 (15.02.2012 14:00:11). Tested all my current routines with the new build, and so far all seem to run flawlessly both on ATI and NVIDIA. Nice work there jogamp community! A minor downside is the never ending story with NEWT bugs wich is more than ever up2date (at least on Windows). So I guess I’ll have to spam bugzilla within the next few days …

Upgrade to JOGL2.0 build #266

It has been quite a while since my last upgrade of JOGL2, so I downed another new version today: Build #266 (23.12.2010 06:40:52). Tested all my current routines with the new build, and so far all seem to run flawlessly both on ATI and NVIDIA. Nice work jogamp community! But as always there are some minor issues remaining especially with NEWT. Guess I’ll have spam bugzilla within the next few days … :)

Upgrade to JOGL2.0 RC(b3)

With the recent release of JOGL2 Release Candidate I thought it would be a good opportunity to upgrade the codebase of my framework/routines to the latest state-of-the-art JOGL version. Migration was a cakewalk, I only had to do minimal changes to my code. As far as I have tested everything works fine, all routines work as intended both on NVidia+ATI (using GLCanvas/AWT). I also tested the new NEWT fullscreen functionality wich should be a replacement for the AWT “Fullscreen Exclusive Mode” and I must say the results look very promising (tho there are currently some issues wich prevented me from switching completely to NEWT).
